Dixie Japan Ltd. President Toshiyuki Ookoshi
Greetings
Protecting the richness of the environment with gratitude, enriching our lives,
and aiming to be the company that the world needs.
For more than half a century since its founding in 1964, our company has contributed to society by providing paper containers, which are essential in everyday life. We believe that companies are responsible for the environmental and social impacts of their business activities. In recent years, there has been an urgent need to address environmental issues on a global scale, including marine plastic waste. As a manufacturer, we believe paper-based products can contribute to solving the environmental challenges.
Paper is made from wood, which is suitable for recycling, and the materials are never depleted by tree planting. Trees absorb and fix carbon dioxide in the atmosphere during their growth and produce oxygen, making them an environmentally friendly and gentle material. Providing eco-friendly paper container at reasonable prices, using forest resources and biodegradable material, will help ensure the safety of ecosystems and curb global warming. We believe paper containers will play a role in eliminating plastic, thereby protecting the affluence of the ocean and the land.
Dixie Japan is currently working to develop paper containers that use resource saving and new materials in order to respond to a variety of environmental changes. We also have been reforming our system to hear our customers’ voices more closely. In addition, we will continue to strive to provide high value-added paper containers that can respond to a wide variety of customer needs thorough factory hygiene management.
We will always be grateful, and we will continue to work together with our customers and suppliers to protect the richness of the environment through paper containers. We can become a company that enriches the lives of people around the world and a company that is necessary for the world.
